Tourists travelling to Sharjah
Before you book
Check if you need a visa. Depending on your nationality you can get a visa on arrival, or you can apply for your prearranged visit visa from Sharjah Immigration before you travel.
Before you travel
GDRFA or ICA approval is not required for tourists travelling to the UAE.
Passengers arriving from the following countries must follow specific protocols:
- Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia
Requirements for passengers from these countries arriving in Sharjah or using Sharjah connect
- A valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted within 48 hours, validity should be calculated from the time the sample was collected, prior to departure from an approved health facility
- A rapid PCR test report with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within six hours of departure
For passengers travelling to Sharjah as their final destination from Nigeria, travel is currently not possible as there is no rapid PCR testing facilities at the airport.
