*All excursions are optional

Brief Itinerary :
  • Day 1: Exploring Baku’s Old Town

Start your day with a visit to Icherisheher, Baku’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the narrow streets, admire the ancient architecture, and visit some of the historical landmarks, such as the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshah’s Palace.
In the afternoon, take a walk along Baku Boulevard, a waterfront promenade with beautiful views of the Caspian Sea. Enjoy a leisurely stroll, people-watch, or take a ride on the Ferris wheel.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani dinner at a restaurant in Old Town. Azerbaijani cuisine is a delicious blend of Turkish, Iranian, and Central Asian influences.

  • Day 2: A Journey Through Time

Dedicate the morning to exploring the Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is famous for its mud volcanoes and its prehistoric rock art. Take a tour of the park and learn about the history of the region.
In the afternoon, visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, a stunning architectural masterpiece designed by Zaha Hadid. The center houses a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Heydar Aliyev, the former president of Azerbaijan.
In the evening, enjoy a performance at the Baku Puppet Theatre, one of the oldest puppet theaters in the world. The theater offers a variety of performances, both traditional and modern.

  • Day 3: A Trip to Absheron Peninsula

Take a day trip to the Absheron Peninsula, a region known for its mud volcanoes, fire temples, and beaches. Visit Ateshgah, a Zoroastrian fire temple that was once a place of worship for Zoroastrians. Then, head to Yanar Dag, a natural gas fire that has been burning for centuries.
In the afternoon, relax on the beach at Shikhovo, a popular resort town on the Absheron Peninsula. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or trying some water sports.

  • Day 4: Shopping and Relaxation

Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs at the Baku Carpet Museum or at the many shops and stalls in Old Town. Azerbaijani carpets are a popular souvenir, and you can find a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose from.
In the afternoon, relax at your hotel or enjoy a final walk around Baku before your departure.
This is just a suggestion, of course, and you can tailor the itinerary to your client’s interests and preferences. Baku has so much to offer, so they’re sure to have a great time!

Here are some additional tips for your trip to Baku:
